Electrician Sheffield £39,799 - £41,894 per year 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team, working across the South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire areas. This role offers a mix of working independently and as part of a team, with a wide range of responsibilities. You will primarily be responsible for carrying out remedial and inspection works on occupied properties, as well as attending emergency breakdowns and service interruptions. A company van and power tools will be provided, and training will be offered as needed to support your development. The role of Electrician will include: • Responding promptly to emergency situations, • Inspecting and testing properties to ensure safety and compliance, and completing any necessary remedial work, • Completing all associated paperwork and producing certification for the works carried out, • To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3, inspection and testing 2391 or equivalent, BS5839-6, BS5839-1, BS 7671 - 18th Edition or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted, • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation, • Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions, • Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach We provide in-house repairs and maintenance for a wide range of properties, as part of a not-for-profit organisation.
