Permanent full-time(40 hours) Competitive salary plus benefits We are seeking Electrical Engineers with extensive experience and understanding of sewage treatment processes and the equipment/system requirements. What this role requires: • Ability to generate innovative and/or technically differentiated solutions to problems, to deliver added value for clients., • Extensive experience and expertise in the production of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) design deliverables., • Ability to manage a CAD resource to produce engineering drawings., • Ability to manage and mentor junior engineers including training and development., • Line management responsibilities., • Ability to foster and develop positive relationships through support of business partners and key clients., • Extensive experience in feasibility, outline, and detailed design., • • Extensive experience proposal fee / hours estimation for design schemes., • Extensive experience conducting technical reviews., • Commercial and contractual awareness., • Desire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values, and culture., • Working knowledge of Microsoft (Office) 365 packages., • An industry applicable BEng, BSc, or equivalent in an electrical discipline., • Recognition that satisfying the customer is the key to achieving other objectives, and that customers include everyone receiving benefits from our processes, whether end-users or other departments within the company., • Ability to work remotely whilst successfully achieving deliverable-based outcomes through a virtual team., • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines., • Organised, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence., • Encouraging and motivating those around you to work to your own high standards of quality and compliance., • Desire for continual learning and drive to improve those around you by sharing information, lessons learnt and best practice., • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients., • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills., • Trustworthy and ethical approach, exercising discretion where required., • An industry applicable BEng, BSc, or equivalent in electrical engineering., • Chartered Engineer or working towards this. Relevant experience will also be considered.Examples of work types, • Site surveys and assessments of the capacity of the plant to meet future demands., • Feasibility, outline, and detailed electrical design, including P&IDs, instrument schedule, load schedules, load assessments, MCC specifications, cable calculations, system architectures, user requirement specifications, cable calculations, fault studies, block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, earthing diagrams, I/O schedules, loop diagrams, SCADA and telemetry design and lightning assessments., • Technical report writing at all stages of the project lifecycle., • Production of general arrangement drawings and detail electrical design drawings., • Support fee proposals or offers of service; development of activity schedules/work plans., • Understanding of DSEAR, CDM, WIMES, British and European Standards and other statutory, regulatory, and non-regulatory provisions and guidance., • Participation in Hazard Studies including HAZOP, HAZCON and HAZCOM., • Development of standard and bespoke design solutions for the water industry and beyond., • Check and review calculations and reports prepared by others. • Undertaking Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA)., • Undertaking Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Assessments., • Undertaking DSEAR assessments., • Experience with AMTECH/TRIMBLE to produce cable calculations, cable schedules, fault studies and discrimination studies., • Experience with AutoCAD although not essential., • Experience with HV electrical systems design and specification.
