Krave Dessert Café is looking for an experienced Café Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day operation and help take the business to the next level. We’re looking for someone energetic, organised and commercially minded who knows how to lead a team, keep standards high and create an atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. 🍰 The Role As Café Manager, you'll have responsibility for the overall performance and smooth running of Krave, including: • Leading, motivating and developing the team, • Managing staff rotas and ensuring efficient staffing levels, • Delivering consistently excellent customer service, • Driving sales and looking for ways to grow the business, • Maintaining high standards across food, drinks, presentation and cleanliness, • Managing stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships, • Controlling wastage and keeping an eye on costs, • Ensuring opening and closing procedures are followed, • Handling customer feedback and resolving issues confidently, • Making sure the café is always looking and operating at its best 🙌 Who We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced café or hospitality manager who: • Has previous management experience in a busy café, restaurant or similar hospitality business, • Is confident leading and managing a team, • Has a strong understanding of stock, labour and cost control, • Is commercially minded and motivated by increasing sales, • Has excellent customer service skills, • Is organised, reliable and hands-on, • Leads from the front rather than managing from the sidelines, • Brings positive energy to the team and the café ✨ Why Krave? You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. As a valued member of our front-of-house team, you will represent the Tamara Lounge brand by providing attentive service, maintaining high standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner., • Present menus and confidently explain food, drinks, and specials., • Take accurate food and beverage orders using our EPOS system., • Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally., • Check back with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction., • Handle guest requests and resolve minor issues professionally, escalating where necessary., • Upsell food, drinks, desserts, cocktails, and shisha where appropriate., • Prepare and maintain tables before, during, and after service., • Ensure all stations remain clean, organized, and fully stocked., • Process bills and payments accurately., • Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and management team to ensure smooth service., • Maintain excellent product knowledge of the menu, allergens, and promotions., • Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing procedures., • Assist with opening and closing duties., • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment. Handyman / Multi-Trade Operative Required – Temporary Position (Potential Permanent Role) MCS Contract Services Ltd is looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Multi-Trade Operative to join our team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate. Location: Based in North London (N19) – applicants living within approximately 5 miles of N19 are preferred. Working Hours: • Monday to Friday, • 8:00am – 4:30pm, • 30-minute unpaid lunch break Rate of Pay: • £160 per day, • Paid monthly by bank transfer The Role: You will be carrying out a variety of property maintenance and refurbishment works, including: • Painting and decorating, • Wall and floor tiling, • Basic plastering and patch repairs, • General carpentry, • Minor plumbing and maintenance works, • General handyman duties, • Dry lining Requirements: • Good all-round multi-trade skills, • Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision, • Reliable, punctual and professional, • Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential, • Own tools are essential If you’re hardworking, take pride in your work, and are looking for an opportunity that could develop into a permanent role, we’d like to hear from you.
