Job Title: Principal Medical Writer (PMW) – Commercial / Medical Ed Focus Location: London, UK (Hybrid) | Option for remote (Manchester) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking Principal Medical Writers (PMW) to join a fast-growing, creatively driven medcomms agency working at the intersection of scientific accuracy, strategy, and storytelling. Opportunities are available across both Commercial/Advertising and Medical Education focuses, supporting a mix of UK and global pharmaceutical and biotech clients. You will work on a wide range of deliverables—from promotional campaigns and brand strategy to scientific narratives and large-scale medical education programmes—collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with clients. Key Responsibilities: • Develop high-quality promotional and/or scientific medical content, • Create materials such as visual aids, messaging documents, campaigns, and scientific narratives, • Translate complex data into clear, engaging, and accurate messaging, • Contribute to brand positioning, strategy development, and workshops, • Support medical education programmes, advisory boards, and stakeholder engagement, • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams in a fast-paced environment Minimum Requirements: • Experience within a healthcare advertising or medical communications agency (essential), • Strong background in either medical copywriting/promotional content or medical education, • Experience working across therapy areas such as oncology, rare diseases, neurology, or immunology (preferred), • Confident in client-facing situations, • PhD preferred; MSc considered with strong experience (BSc only if exceptional) Why This Role: • Opportunity to combine science, strategy, and creative execution, • Exposure to diverse therapy areas and global accounts, • Join a growing, entrepreneurial consultancy founded by industry leaders, • Flexible hybrid model (approx. 2 days/week in-office, with remote flexibility), • Modern London office with excellent transport links and amenities Apply today and take the next step in your medical communications career!
