Our story Norlake Hospitality Limited is a London based owner and developer of unique hospitality properties and experiences around the world. The group owns eight trading hotels, operating under The Hoxton brand in the UK, Europe and USA, a private members club in Mayfair as well as the landmark Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. The role The role sits in the finance team, reporting into the Finance Director, and responsible for the group reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. What you’ll do… ● Responsible for managing the monthly and annual consolidation process for The Hoxton & Gleneagles groups to ensure key information is provided to our internal and external stakeholders in accordance with agreed timetables. ● Manage the annual audit for the Group, including preparation of the statutory accounts and dealing with the group auditors ● Responsible for maintaining various group related deliverables including but not limited to Acquisitions, Disposals, consolidation, Fair valuation, cash flow etc ● Contribute to the ongoing process of improving the quality of key information to internal and external stakeholders. ● Leading implementation & ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems. ● Prepare briefing papers on commercial and accounting issues. ● Responsible for day-to-day accounting & audit of Parent/ Holding Company ● Management of Group Reporting Accountant. ● Ad hoc project work, as per need What we’re looking for… ● Minimum 4 to 5+ years Qualified ACA or ACCA ● Previous experience with global, multi-currency consolidations in line with UK GAAP/IFRS; you’ve been involved in delivering group monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory financial reporting and an external audit process ● Technical proficiency in UK GAAP (FRS 102) ● Experience of managing relationships and working closely with other accounting departments ● Strong Excel Skills ● Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and get the job done ● Continuous learner always looking to improve on the status quo ● Competent communicator of financial information to non-finance persons What’s in it for you… ● Competitive salary and bonus ● 22 days holiday (and bank holidays) ● Private medical insurance and life assurance ● Opportunities to develop and grow in a fast-paced work environment ● Pay Day Lunch
Purpose of the role: To be responsible for shaping and delivering the residential home’s Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same. To provide high quality care services that supports the needs of children and young people, to be an advocate for their well-being and to provide strong, motivational leadership to the team. Duties and responsibilities: 1. To manage a residential home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies and the Statement of Purpose for the home. 2. Responsibility for safeguarding and promoting individual rights, providing good quality care which is free from oppression and where differences are respected and valued. 3. To produce a development plan for the service that ensures the delivery of high quality, clinically informed practice. 4. To support adults to achieve the highest standards of care for the children and young people. 5. To co-ordinate and monitor casework and administrative functions of the home and evaluate standards of performance. 6. To assist and supervise in the continual assessment of the needs of the children and young people and to identify and prepare specific development plans to ensure the most appropriate service provision. 7. To be involved in recruitment of the team including vetting, interviewing and inducting new employees. 8. To contribute to a comprehensive team training and development programme to enable the service to have available all necessary skills and levels of expertise to meet the needs of the young people. 9. Maintain individual standards through continuous professional development, including keeping a record. 10. Support the team to ensure longevity and good organisation retention. 11. To contribute to the development of appropriate relationships with and between adults, young people and other stakeholders. 12. Liaise with the various internal and external multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities to ensure that the care needs of new and existing children and young people are met. 13. To chair meetings, reviews and discussions as necessary. 14. To ensure at all times that professional ethics and behaviour are demonstrated by all adults at all times. To ensure that the company's financial and administrative procedures are adhered to and to work within a set budget. 18. Ensure all professional practice and medication processes within the home are conducted in line with legislation. 19. To work with other managers to ensure that all adultswork together and with others towards meeting the emotional and physical needs of the young people and planning for positive outcomes. 20. To be accountable and take responsibility for liaising with regulatory organisations in relation to the way the home is managed. 21. Register with the regulator and uphold requirements and condition of this registration. 22. Ensure the all necessary documentation required by regulators is completed to a high standard and be available for inspections, checks or interviews as requested. 23. To promote appropriate and therapeutic relationships between adults and young people and their families, promoting the children and young people's involvement and participation in the day-to-day life of the home. 24. To be part of an on-call system. 25. Maintain a clean and safe environment; ensure that the physical state of the building is maintained to a high standard and that all repair/maintenance problems are dealt with promptly. 26. To participate in a range of corporate and management activities as defined by the Director of Care. 27. Any other such duties as may be required from time to time by the Operational Managers or their authorised representatives. 28. Ensure that safe working practices are employed by all adults at all times in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work legislation. Will co-operate with designated personnel exercising their responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act. An experienced and qualified Electrical Fitter with experience in running installation / service teams on-site is needed to join the team at this leading door installation and servicing company based in London on a full-time basis. This role is in London, so the relevant candidate will be working around London for a large percentage of the time, which could include the odd weekend. About the Role You will work as a Site team member to provide a combination of installation, repairs, and servicing of various types of doors, including all associated hardware and components. You will be a part of the Servicing and Installation department and will report directly to the Managing Director. Much of their work requires the candidate to undergo a Security clearance, which will include background checks, references for the previous 3 years of employment, residential checks, medical and complete random Drugs and Alcohol checks. Key Responsibilities: •Install, service and maintain the range of doors, which can be NPSA (CPNI) rated. The range includes Sliding-folding, bi-fold doors, side-hinged doors and fire doors. All doors can be either mechanical or electrically operated •Provide an innovative and technically aware approach to problem-solving •Comply with all Health & Safety requirements. •Lead an on-site team of fitters to ensure the project is completed within the allocated time and to the high standards required •Ensure that all HSE and company paperwork is completed and returned to the office after the project has been completed •Ensure appropriate audits and checks are carried out on company equipment in line with relevant standards •Receive and put into action all written and verbal instructions as required •Train and supervise all team members to ensure they adhere to all safety documentation •examines drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine the method and sequence of operations; •selects, cuts and lays wires and connects to sockets, plugs or terminals by crimping, soldering, brazing or bolting; •cuts, bends and installs electrical conduit; •assembles parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and by brazing, riveting or welding; •installs electrical plant, machinery and other electrical fixtures and appliances such as fuse boxes, generators, light sockets etc.; •examines electrical plant or machinery, domestic appliances and other electrical assembly for faults using test equipment and replaces worn parts and faulty wiring. Required Experience: •Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have experience in running Installation/service teams on-site and have SSSTS Card as a minimum •All Electricians Must be fully qualified up to 18th Edition as a minimum •All Engineers will be required to have CSCS Cards as a minimum, but all Supervisors will require SSSTS cards.
