Our Requirements We are looking for a Junior Credit Controller and offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly commercial and enthusiastic individual ideally with 1-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution sector to join our Finance team (medical supplies sector would be desirable but not essential). Overview You will already have experiences in a Credit Controller role. Working within the Finance Dept and closely with Senior Management, Purchasing and the Customer Service Teams, this role will suit a highly organised individual with multi-tasking ability who is able to work with a variety of people and work to financial timelines and objectives. Your qualities will include strong analytical and excel skills, self-starter and ability to use your initiative. Your main responsibilities are the Provision of Credit Controller Services Working alongside the Finance team members to free up their time to add value: General accounting duties including posting invoices / accounts payable / receivable Reconciling accounts and do the same for the month end for the whole debtor ledger Additional bank reconciliation / Amazon Reconciliation Credit cards reconciliation and CC payments (credit/ debits) Posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents Follow-up / debt chasing payments / monies owed (below a certain amount) Maintain complete sets of financial records / keep track of accounts, Reconciliation of accounts to ensure their accuracy The Services will also include any other tasks which the Parties may agree on Liaising with management accounts team to ensure correct reporting of sales reports, margin and costs Understanding of the CRM / financial reporting system (Khaos) and liaising with the internal support providers for specific requirements / needs Work in line with agreed KPIs, standards, policies and regulations Required skills & experience: Minimum 1-3+ years’ work experience Numerate with excellent attention to detail. Excellent data input skills. Your Responsibilities: - Establish failure finding faults on returned devices. - Perform mechanical/electrical repairs. - Complete functional testing. - Administer paperwork for traceability of the repairs (Oracle, Agile) and for shipping documents (customer reports, delivery documents, customs clearance). - Manage reprocessing of our Rental/Loan/Trial fleet of devices. - Assist with spare part warehouse inventory and management. - Support the warehouse team for end of period. - Accompany the field sales team on customer visits on request. - Work closely with the customer service teams. - Assist in documentation preparation for QA. - Support on analysis reports and feedback adequate information. Requirements : - Technical education diploma or equivalent. - Certificate in electronics/repair program preferred. - Ability to troubleshoot, test and repair technical equipment. - Ability to work independently. - Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task. - Good analytical, communication and reporting skills. - Awareness of electrical and mechanical health and safety issues. - Self-organized, problem-solving, team player, and motivated. - Available to travel abroad for training.
An experienced and qualified Electrical Fitter with experience in running installation / service teams on-site is needed to join the team at this leading door installation and servicing company based in London on a full-time basis. This role is in London, so the relevant candidate will be working around London for a large percentage of the time, which could include the odd weekend. About the Role You will work as a Site team member to provide a combination of installation, repairs, and servicing of various types of doors, including all associated hardware and components. You will be a part of the Servicing and Installation department and will report directly to the Managing Director. Much of their work requires the candidate to undergo a Security clearance, which will include background checks, references for the previous 3 years of employment, residential checks, medical and complete random Drugs and Alcohol checks. Key Responsibilities: •Install, service and maintain the range of doors, which can be NPSA (CPNI) rated. The range includes Sliding-folding, bi-fold doors, side-hinged doors and fire doors. All doors can be either mechanical or electrically operated •Provide an innovative and technically aware approach to problem-solving •Comply with all Health & Safety requirements. •Lead an on-site team of fitters to ensure the project is completed within the allocated time and to the high standards required •Ensure that all HSE and company paperwork is completed and returned to the office after the project has been completed •Ensure appropriate audits and checks are carried out on company equipment in line with relevant standards •Receive and put into action all written and verbal instructions as required •Train and supervise all team members to ensure they adhere to all safety documentation •examines drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine the method and sequence of operations; •selects, cuts and lays wires and connects to sockets, plugs or terminals by crimping, soldering, brazing or bolting; •cuts, bends and installs electrical conduit; •assembles parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and by brazing, riveting or welding; •installs electrical plant, machinery and other electrical fixtures and appliances such as fuse boxes, generators, light sockets etc.; •examines electrical plant or machinery, domestic appliances and other electrical assembly for faults using test equipment and replaces worn parts and faulty wiring. Required Experience: •Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have experience in running Installation/service teams on-site and have SSSTS Card as a minimum •All Electricians Must be fully qualified up to 18th Edition as a minimum •All Engineers will be required to have CSCS Cards as a minimum, but all Supervisors will require SSSTS cards.
