We are looking for an ambitious , proactive , enthusiastic individual to join our business , initially as an administrative assistant . There will be opportunities to learn and grow and develop into a broader role over time. Initially , the role will involve learning about our business , helping us to organise and run training courses and supporting both our staff and clients. Over a 3-5 year period , we expect this person to get involved in providing training , networking and ultimately own a portfolio of clients. We are looking for someone with medium term ambitions to stay with us and develop in the role. We work remotely on average 1-2 days per week , depending on the needs of our clients and the rest of the time are based in office space around London and the south east .

Role Title: Customer Services & Design Assistant Location: Planet Neon Role Overview Planet Neon is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Customer Services & Design Assistant. This role combines day-to-day customer support with creative design responsibilities. You don’t need to be an expert in design software yet — full training will be provided in VCarve so you can develop the skills needed to prepare design files for neon signage. What matters most is a willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and bring a positive attitude to everything you do. Key Responsibilities Customer Service • Answer customer enquiries via phone, email, and in-person., • Provide information on products, prices, and lead times., • Process orders from enquiry to completion., • Deal with any issues or complaints in a helpful and professional manner., • Build and maintain good relationships with customers. Skills & Experience Required • Previous experience in customer service (preferred but not essential)., • Good communication skills, both written and verbal., • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)., • Willingness to learn VCarve software and other design tools (training provided)., • Eye for detail with a creative mindset., • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to pitch in where needed. Duties and responsibilities • Working independently in the field: you will attend work in multiple homes across London each day., • You will be based out of our office near Covent Garden, • Completion of a wide range of basic maintenance tasks to include (but not limited to) plumbing, electrical work, carpentry WIFI/Audio-Video troubleshooting, general home repairs and decorating., • Install and assemble furniture, fixtures, shelving, lighting, and other household items, • Managing your daily workload, estimating time on the job and the costs of any necessary repair., • The ability to draw up complex quotes and sourcing parts/materials if needed., • Sending feedback from each job to the office team, including receipts for any materials purchased., • Accurate and timely admin in our expense management system, • Highlighting jobs where a specialist is required., • Flexing into other teams to support on discrete tasks dependent on business needs., • Supporting the manager and team on projects as required., • Safe and responsible use of company equipment within onefinestay guidelines, • Our business runs 365 days per year, so you will be expected to work some bank holidays and occasionally out of hours.
