This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who are eager to provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner. \n\nWhat We Offer Our SEN/SEND Tutors:\n\n • Flexible part-time to full-time hours tailored to your schedule.\n, • Opportunities for remote work and online teaching assignments.\n, • Access to extensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite.\n, • A dedicated SEN/SEND Support Team to ensure every placement is a success.\n, • Join our vibrant tutor community to share best practices, resources, and tips.\n, • Be part of a child-centered organization committed to improving support for vulnerable young people.\n\n\nYour Role as an SEN/SEND Tutor:\n\n, • Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.\n, • Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.\n, • Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that is trauma-informed and tailored to individual needs.\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n, • Plan and prepare each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of your students.\n, • Deliver engaging and holistic sessions that advance both educational and social-emotional development.\n, • Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.\n\n\nRequirements to Join Our Team:\n\n, • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).\n, • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.\n, • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs.\n, • Knowledge of safeguarding processes.\n, • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).\n, • Two professional references.\n, • This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.\n, • You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.\n, • No set amount of work or expenses coverage is provided.\n, • Our insurance covers the work you do for us.\n, • SENCo (Special Education Needs Coordinator)\n, • SLD / MLD Teacher\n, • Autism / ADHD Support Teacher\n, • Intervention Specialist\n, • Learning Support Assistant (LSA)\n, • Educational Therapist\n, • Speech and Language Therapist\n, • Educational Psychologist\n
