Job Title: Warehouse Procurement Specialist Experience Level: 1-3 Years Key Responsibilities Asset and Equipment Procurement: Purchase warehouse assets and equipment (e.g., shelving, MHE - Material Handling Equipment, IT hardware) in line with operational requirements and budget constraints. Consumables and Packaging: Manage the procurement of all packaging materials (boxes, tape, labels, etc.) and other essential operational consumables. Outsourcing and Services: Source and manage contracts for outsourced services, including but not limited to cleaning, security, maintenance, and other external service providers. Leasing and Facility Services: Handle the procurement related to facility leasing, equipment leasing, and general administrative services for the warehouse. Engineering and Projects: Support procurement activities for warehouse engineering projects, facility upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors; manage and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing suppliers to ensure performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiation and Cost Control: Conduct effective negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the company and drive cost savings. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
