We are building a new MEICA team to deliver major Thames Water projects across the Thames Valley. We’re looking for both Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers to support innovative infrastructure schemes that make a lasting impact. What you’ll be doing: Mechanical Project Engineer • Deliver pumping systems, pipework, and mechanical plant installations, • Oversee off-site fabrication, modularisation & site assembly, • Manage suppliers, sub-contractors & ensure design integration, • Conduct inspections, quality audits & monitor progress vs programme Electrical Project Engineer • Deliver LV/HV systems, control panels & instrumentation, • Oversee cabling, power distribution & MCC installations, • Ensure integration with SCADA, PLCs & process control systems, • Carry out inspections, testing & ensure compliance with standards For both roles: • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure delivery on time & budget, • Support procurement, commercial, and site teams, • Promote a positive, collaborative team culture What we need from you: • CSCS card & SMSTS/SSSTS qualification, • ONC/HNC or higher in Mechanical or Electrical discipline, • Industry experience in water/wastewater or infrastructure projects, • Strong technical knowledge across MEICA, • Organised, analytical & commercially astute, • Understanding of MMC, Lean & Agile methods, • First Aid at Work qualification, • Strong IT skills & excellent communication What we offer: • Salary £40k–£55k (DOE), • 26 days holiday (+ buy/sell up to 3 days), • Additional long service leave (3, 7, 10 years), • Private medical (option to add family cover), • Life assurance & pension matched up to 8%, • Enhanced maternity/paternity/parental leave, • 2 volunteering days annually, • Flexible & agile working, • Employee Assistance Programme, • Professional membership fees paid, • Perks at Work discount scheme, • Flexible benefits (dental, travel, cycle to work, retail vouchers) Join us as we grow our MEICA team and play a key role in shaping Thames Water’s future.
