You will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing while also learning key office-based skills. The Trainee Operations Assistant role includes rotations through Production, Lean, Health & Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, with 80% of the work in the office environment. You'll be supporting production processes, improving operational efficiency, and working with data, all while studying for your Level 2 Lean Manufacturing apprenticeship online. The Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Operations Assistant: Office-based work: Data management, process improvement, and liaising with teams (Planning, Warehouse, Procurement). Production Support: Assist with machine setup, assembly, and quality checks. Lean & Continuous Improvement: Participate in 5S implementation and problem-solving activities.
