As a Content Creative you will create relevant and compelling video and photo content across social platforms, livestreams, and longer-form storytelling. From fast-paced edits for TikTok or Reels to artist interviews, livestreams, behind-the-scenes shoots and brand campaigns – you’ll be working with our teams across marketing, digital and A&R to create content that cuts through. This role is varied and you’ll be capturing our artists, events and label moments - whether it’s behind the decks at a festival, in the studio or inside our Old Street HQ. Our Lead Lighting and Compositing Artists (“L&C”) are wonderful visual storytellers and excellent motivators. They lead their team in defining the mood and atmosphere of our narratives, and highlight the charming details of our characters, props and environments. They are the savants of light, colour and creative problem solving. Your day-to-day will focus on creating the lighting of our episodes, finessing the colours in compositing, whilst always keeping the right balance between high quality and meeting deadlines. You will also be responsible for distributing work across your team members so that the workload is evenly balanced, and communicating with your supervisor and other departments to make sure the project is running smoothly. This is a role for someone with strong 3D design and motion graphics skills, ideally with experience building content for virtual production and real-time engines such as Unreal Engine. You’ll design and build 3D environments in tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, then optimise and configure those environments in Unreal Engine before previewing and refining them live via Disguise’s RenderStream workflow on the XR stage. This will largely be a 9 to 5 role, though there may occasionally be a need to work outside of these hours to support shoots, OBs and/or recordings. Inspired by West African folklore, Afrofuturism and sound system culture, Ancient Futures will be a high energy performance that fuses dance, circus, music and storytelling. Conceived and directed by Vicki Dela Amedume (Upswing) and J Spooner (Unlimited), Ancient Futures is a durational event for festivals and public spaces that builds, throughout a whole day, to an immersive evening climax. We are working with writer and ‘quantum poet’ Oneness Sankara to create the story-world and mythologies that underpin our ‘Afrinaut’ culture. New music will be made by renowned Grime and Hip Hop Artist, Afrikan Boy. Ancient Futures will feel somewhere between a sound system clash, a dance party and a launch into an alternative universe. At the centre of the event is our Afrinaut leader (a Griot, MC and storyteller) who leads our ritualistic dance party from their place at the top of a giant sound system structure, inviting the audience to join them and build a better, safer, more inspiring future than we might otherwise be heading towards.
