    Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from initial planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, and other stakeholders while ensuring compliance with all relevant construction, health and safety, environmental, and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage construction projects from pre-construction through to practical completion and handover. Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, budgets, and delivery plans. Coordinate site activities and ensure work progresses in accordance with approved programmes and specifications. Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. Monitor project costs, valuations, variations, procurement, and cash flow. Identify and manage project risks, issues, delays, and opportunities. Ensure construction activities comply with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and contractual requirements. Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental performance. Chair and attend project meetings, providing clear progress updates to clients and senior management. Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Review contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met. Coordinate procurement and ensure materials, plant, labour, and specialist resources are available when required. Monitor project progress against programme, budget, quality, and performance targets. Manage change control, variations, extensions of time, and contractual matters. Ensure accurate project documentation, records, reports, and handover information are maintained. Lead project close-out, commissioning, practical completion, and final handover. Promote a positive culture of collaboration, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Requirements & Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar senior construction management role. Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and contract administration. Experience managing construction projects from inception through completion. Demonstrable experience managing budgets, programmes, subcontractors, and project teams. Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements and construction legislation. Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions under pressure. Strong commercial and financial awareness. Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software. Relevant construction or project management qualification is desirable.
