This is a maternity cover role covering a 12-month period until April 2025. What you'll be doing... Reporting to the General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following: Proactively uncover new prospects for the hotel and maximise conversion of new business. Work within current business strategies and recognise potential opportunities. Responsible for the conversion of the hotel’s new business pipeline across all market segments and heavily assist in converting enquiries and achieving our annual budget. Build and grow the relationships with our key clients. Respond to corporate RFPs and contract corporate accounts. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU To succeed in the role of our Director of Sales, you will need the following qualities and skills: A track record of sales achievement with at least 1 years’ experience in the service and hospitality industry is essential for this role. Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to look ahead and put strategies in place to support the plans. A degree of knowledge of all market segments i.e., corporate, conference. We are now ready to enlarge our family and are looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist, ideally experienced with the role using Rezlynx (PMS system) – although not a must to be considered for the position. The receptionist will be working on-site 4 days a week, managing check-in & check-out, reservations via calls and emails, always maintaining a fast correspondence with guests, and assisting as promptly as possible. We are looking for a full time receptionist to join our front of house team. We operate across several buildings in the Aldgate and Liverpool Street area and your role will be allocated at either of these. Your duties will include welcoming guests, answering calls, completing administrative work and above all else ensuring a positive visitor and tenant experience. We are looking for staff to work Monday to Friday, however weekend overtime may also be available. Staff are required to have an SIA Licence, however if you don’t currently have one we can provide the training on completion of your probation period. This is a monthly paid role.
