What to expect Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, the Reliability Engineer is a pivotal Site role and in partnership with your Asset Care Planner (ACP) you need to analyse and improve the equipment performance. Working in close partnership with the Production Manager it is graded as a Band 100 (professional banding) to reflect the level of responsibility, flexibility of hours and approach, plus the commitment required to deliver a demanding role in a Factory that operates 24/7. Key to the role are a number of core elements which you will be expected to master :- • The site currently operates its maintenance on 6 year life plans with modular and major overhauls. Your role with the ACP is the planning, scheduling and execution of these plans to ensure that line start up after overhaul, hits its targets for quality, safety and performance all within your budget (which you will have complete control of for your area)., • Reliability focuses on maintenance effectiveness and you will be expected to move the maintenance plans away from a check and inspect mentality to that of a measure and compare to a standard.
