You'll ensure all activities are completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest operational standards. \nThis is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical signalling background alongside leadership capability and a proactive approach to safety, quality, and team performance. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and organise signalling maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal activities\nEnsure safe systems of work and robust safety arrangements are maintained at all times\nMonitor quality, compliance, and team competence across all works\nEnsure tools, vehicles, plant, and equipment remain fit for purpose\nProduce operational and compliance reports to support delivery performance\nSupport and mentor team members while setting high working standards\nWork collaboratively with Network Rail teams, contractors, and stakeholders\nEssential Experience:\n\nPrevious Team Leader experience\nOrganising and delivering signalling works safely and efficiently\nStrong understanding of signalling maintenance, faulting, inspection, and renewal techniques\nKnowledge of relevant Network Rail standards including:\n\nNR/L3/SIG/10663\nNR/L3/SIG/11231\n\nValid IRSE Combined Signalling Maintainer & Fault Finder Licence (1.4.230)\n\nDesirable:\n\nNVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline\nFull UK driving licence\nAbility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and on-call as required\n\nAdditional Benefits:\n\nShift premium for qualifying hours\nOvertime opportunities available\nLong-term career stability and progression\nOpportunity to work within a safety-focused, high-performing environment\nApply now or email your CV to (url removed)
