    BGirls Kitchen is a busy Afro-Caribbean restaurant and takeaway specialising in seafood boils, rice dishes loaded with seafood, BBQ and freshly prepared sides. We are looking for experienced Kitchen Crew Members to join our teams in Woolwich and Dagenham. This is a hands-on role involving food preparation, cooking, assembling customer orders, cleaning and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods. Previous commercial kitchen, restaurant or busy takeaway experience is essential. The Role • Prepare and assemble customer orders to set recipes, portions and presentation standards., • Read order tickets and manage multiple orders during busy periods., • Prepare and handle seafood, meat, poultry, rice and sides., • Follow food hygiene, allergen and cross-contamination procedures., • Check food temperatures and correctly store and rotate stock., • Keep kitchen stations clean, organised and stocked., • Complete washing-up, cleaning, restocking and closing duties., • Support other crew members during service. Essential Requirements • Previous commercial kitchen, restaurant or takeaway experience., • Experience preparing and cooking customer orders during service., • Able to work independently and manage multiple orders at once., • Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling., • Comfortable handling seafood and shellfish., • Reliable, punctual and able to work at pace., • Available for evening and weekend shifts., • Good spoken and written English., • Right to work in the UK. Desirable • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate., • Seafood or Afro-Caribbean cooking experience., • High-volume takeaway or delivery-kitchen experience., • Experience using Uber Eats or Deliveroo restaurant tablets.
