SAP HANA Transportation Management Consultant - Permanent Are you an experienced SAP HANA TM professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, technology-driven environment? We are seeking a talented SAP consultant to join a forward-thinking team, supporting the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP Transportation Management solutions. This will be a Hybrid role and 3 days a week oniste in a Liverpool based office. The Role As an SAP HANA TM Consultant, you will: • Support and enhance SAP BAU processes, as well as implement and configure SAP S/4HANA TM for transportation planning, execution, and freight management., • Analyse business requirements and design solutions for carrier selection, freight booking, route optimisation, and shipping execution., • Integrate SAP TM with other modules and external carrier systems through APIs, middleware, or B2B connections., • Configure transportation master data, planning profiles, charge management, freight settlement, and cost distribution., • Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer for logistics and transport teams., • Hands-on experience in SAP SD and strong implementation exposure in SAP S/4HANA SD and SAP Transportation Management (TM) on HANA., • Expertise in planning, execution, freight order management, and charge calculation., • Knowledge of integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules (SD, MM, LE)., • Experience with PI/CPI integrations for external carriers and systems., • Strong understanding of transportation processes within logistics and supply chain., • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded TM in high-volume logistics environments., • Exposure to SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and end-to-end logistics integration., • Familiarity with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), Event Management, or Advanced ATP (aATP)., • Knowledge of SAP Fiori Launchpad administration and SAP BTP integrations related to SD/TM scenarios.

This role will focus on delivering and supporting SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) solutions, working closely with logistics and supply chain teams to enhance transportation planning, execution and cost optimisation. The position is well suited to a consultant who combines strong functional expertise with the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. Responsibilities for the SAP TM Consultant: • Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) across planning, execution and freight management, • Analyse business requirements and design solutions for carrier selection, route optimisation and shipment execution, • Integrate SAP TM with modules such as SD, MM, LE and EWM, as well as external carrier systems, • Configure transportation master data including lanes, zones, resources and freight agreements, • Manage planning profiles, freight order processes, charge management and settlement, • Support testing phases including UAT, SIT and go-live activities, • Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure system performance and data accuracy, • Provide end-user support, documentation and knowledge transfer to logistics teams, • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) on S/4HANA, • Experience across transport planning, execution and freight management processes, • Strong knowledge of SAP SD integration and broader logistics modules (MM, LE, EWM), • Experience integrating SAP with external systems using APIs, middleware or CPI/PI, • Strong understanding of transportation processes within logistics and supply chain environments, • Experience configuring freight orders, planning profiles, transportation cockpit and charge management, • Experience with S/4HANA Embedded TM, • Exposure to EWM, GTS, Event Management or aATP, • Experience with SAP Fiori and user interface configuration, • Knowledge of SAP BTP integrations

This role will focus on implementing and enhancing SAP S/4HANA PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling), working closely with business stakeholders to improve planning accuracy, optimise production processes and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities for the SAP PP/DS Consultant: • Configure and support SAP S/4HANA PP/DS for production planning, scheduling and optimisation, • Analyse business requirements and design solutions across capacity planning, sequencing and detailed scheduling, • Integrate PP/DS with SAP modules including PP, MM, SD and external systems such as MES, • Configure planning master data including PDS, resources, heuristics and planning strategies, • Support finite scheduling, order sequencing and planning optimisation scenarios, • Enable and manage planning tools such as planning board, alert monitor and CIF integration, • Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure stability and performance, • Support testing phases including UAT, SIT and go-live activities, • Provide documentation, training and support to planning and operations teams, • Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP/DS, • Solid understanding of production planning, MRP and scheduling processes, • Experience working with CIF, IDocs, queues and Fiori applications, • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, • Experience with S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS, • Strong configuration expertise across heuristics, planning strategies and PDS/IPPE, • Understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes
