We’re looking for a classroom assistant to work in our Maths, English and Science tuition centre in Plumstead Common on Saturday afternoons. In the role, you will be working with students from the age of 4-16 years old primarily in a 1-to-1 / small group setting. In our centre, we provide our students with new sets of worksheets weekly, and during the class you will be assisting students with understanding their work for the week ahead and also marking plus providing oral and written feedback for students previously assigned work. Prior tutoring experience is welcome, but not a prerequisite for the role - we are primarily looking for someone with a strong skillset in working with children and nurturing a supportive, engaging and productive learning environment for our students.
