    Residential Child/Young Person Support Worker Location: Farnworth, Bolton Salary: Days £13ph, Nights £13.20ph, Sleep-in £70 per night Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, mixed shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins) Are you an experienced residential childcare professional looking for a position at a setting where experience is valued and where you are supported with ongoing training and development with the possibility of career progression? About the Role: As a Support worker, you’ll play a key role in the daily running of the home, supporting the Senior Support worker to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people. You’ll promote a nurturing and structured environment, and act as a role model in line with Ofsted and safeguarding standards. Key Responsibilities: • Promote a safe, caring and homely environment for young people., • Support care planning, risk assessments and daily record keeping., • Lead by example and help develop staff through coaching and guidance., • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times., • Build positive relationships with young people, families and professionals., • Minimum 2 years Experience in Children's Residential setting, • Experience working with young people with EBD in a residential setting., • Verifiable complete employment history, • Enhanced DBS certificate with registration on Digital update service., • Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills., • Full UK driving licence., • Willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins and occasional lone working., • Competitive salary, • Ongoing training and development., • Supportive, values-led team culture., • Opportunities for progression up to Deputy Manager and beyond
