Were looking for a Portfolio Office Lead who is an experienced project manager with strong business analysis skills and is great at scoping, challenging and refining requests into well-defined proposals. Youll play a key role in setting projects up for success before they begin, ensuring everyone is clear on the outcomes, approach and resources needed to deliver change successfully. Youll also be responsible for running a PMO function, so youll need to be organised and efficient. Key areas of responsibilityEnsure proposals are robust, complete, and supported by clear, evidence-based business casesProvide senior management with concise, decision-ready information to support portfolio decision-makingLead cross-functional workshops to define and document scope, deliverables, benefits, and requirementsEnsure risks, dependencies, assumptions, and resource needs are clearly identifiedSecure cross-functional resource commitment prior to project mobilisationWhat youll bring to the roleHands-on experience in business and IT project managementStrong financial acumen, able to quantify and articulate costs and benefits for business casesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present clearly and influence effectivelyStrong business analysis capability, including leading cross-functional requirements workshopsProven ability to influence and challenge constructively to drive better outcomesProcess design and mapping expertise, with proficiency in VisioThe Benenden Health office is based in York and whilst we do work hybrid, there is a requirement of 2 3 days per week in the office.
