Your Responsibilities: - Guest Service : Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive. - Menu Knowledge : Guide guests through our menu, offering recommendations and answering questions about ingredients, preparation, and wine pairings. - Order Taking and Delivery : Accurately take and process orders, ensuring food and drink are delivered to the table promptly and following guest requests. - Drink Preparation : Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including wine, cocktails, and hot beverages (coffee, tea, etc.), ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. - Upselling : Proactively suggest additional menu items, including specials and desserts, to enhance the guest experience. - Team Collaboration : Work alongside kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service and meet customer needs. - Maintain Cleanliness : Keep the restaurant tidy, including clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently, and maintaining the cleanliness of service areas. - Problem-Solving : Address any guest concerns or issues in a calm and professional manner, ensuring a positive outcome for both the customer and the business. - Cash Handling : Process payments accurately, including handling cash and credit card transactions. Plane Food is a newly designed, state of the art restaurant situated airside at Heathrow Terminal 5. The restaurant offers passengers a wide variety of fantastic dining options - from breakfast to & agrave; la carte dining, express menus and picnics to take away, the choices are endless. Guests can also relax in our cocktail bar and enjoy delicious drinks and carefully selected wines. We are looking for full time and part time Guest Servers on a fixed term contract until January 2026.
