As our IT Apprentice, youll work alongside experienced engineers to support clients networks and hardware, troubleshoot software and imaging systems, and help deliver seamless IT services to dental practices. Youll gain hands-on experience, learn industry best practices, and contribute to a company that prides itself on proactive, high-quality support in a specialized healthcare technology setting. In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Answering initial phone calls from customers and logging cases accurately in the ticketing system. Providing 1st line support to resolve common IT and software issues. Developing into 2nd line support, depending on experience and training. Using the ticketing system to update customers and manage cases through to resolution. Delivering technical support for both digital imaging solutions and general IT services. Assisting with data and database migrations for customers Coordinating and assisting with software installations and customer training sessions. Working collaboratively with the wider support team to deliver an excellent customer experience. Occasionally attending customer sites with senior members of staff to gain field experience. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Certifications to further progress. This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, well support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification. Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. Youll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments.
