We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing team, providing installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of specialist irrigation equipment across the UK.This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being out on the road, solving technical problems and working with a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems.No two days will be the same. You will spend the majority of your time working at customer sites, with occasional workshop-based duties.The EquipmentYou will work on a variety of specialist equipment, including:Irrigation booms and hose reelsPumps and pumping systemsHydraulic systemsDiesel-driven equipmentElectrical control systemsAutomation, sensors and controlsKey ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, maintain and repair irrigation systemsDiagnose and repair faults across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and diesel systemsCarry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairsTest equipment and ensure systems operate safely and efficientlyRead and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical manualsProvide professional technical support to customers on-siteComplete service reports and maintain accurate recordsIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performanceWork safely and in accordance with company standardsAbout YouWe are interested in hearing from engineers with experience in:Field Service EngineeringMechanical EngineeringAutomotive EngineeringAgricultural EngineeringPlant EngineeringFLT EngineeringMaintenance EngineeringMobile EngineeringYou do not need previous irrigation experience.
