The ideal candidate will be a time-served fabricator with proven experience in pipework and vessel fabrication. You should be capable of working independently, using your own initiative, and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include: • Workshop-based fabrication, sheet metal work and welding, • Site-based fabrication, machinery and pipework installations in the process industry, • Installing hygienic pipework, steam and condensate systems., • Primarily using TIG purge welding to deliver high-quality installations, • Fabricating and installing access platforms, machinery guarding and process equipment, • Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks, • Perform fabrication tasks in the workshop and on-site, ensuring excellent quality and efficiency, • Assist in generating bills of materials, preparing RAMS, and purchase requisitions as needed About you • Completion of a recognised qualification or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade., • Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication and process installations., • Significant experience in welding and fabrication, including pipework and bracketry, • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&ID’S, • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently., • Sound understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
