Brazer / Welder Location: Near Uxbridge (commutable from Denham, Slough, Wembley, High Wycombe, Watford, Luton, Hemel Hempstead etc) Salary: £35,500 starting salary + excellent benefits Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–12:00 If you’re a skilled Brazer/Welder looking to step into a high-spec engineering environment, this is a chance to work on complex assemblies where quality, accuracy, and consistency are everything. You’ll be joining a well-established British engineering manufacturer with a global reputation, producing critical components for advanced aerospace systems. What’s in it for you • £35,500 starting salary, • 9% non-contributory pension, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Early finish every Friday, • Healthcare cash plan, • 4x life assurance, • Ongoing training and development, • Opportunity to buy additional annual leave, • Cycle to work scheme What you’ll be doing • Carrying out brazing operations (low-temp silver and high-temp brass) on pipes, fittings, and sub-assemblies, • Performing arc welding (including TIG) on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components, • Working to high aerospace standards and specifications, • Setting and operating spot welding equipment, • Preparing components including deburring, polishing, and cleaning, • Completing inspection checks including ball bearing tests and visual quality checks, • Supporting development work, including proof-of-concept welding activities, • Assisting with welding tasks across maintenance and production when required What they’re looking for • Previous experience in brazing and arc welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment, • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, • Experience using measuring equipment and workshop tools (grinders, gas cutters, etc.), • Familiarity with TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes, • Strong attention to detail and quality standards, • Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel, • Ideally certified to relevant welding standards (e.g. aerospace or BS/EN equivalents), • Hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working in a production environment Why apply?
