Key Responsibilities ● Steering building projects from inception to handover and completion ● Liaison with other I.Chime team members in improving the management processes and structures. ● Procuring construction works including main contracts, enabling works, major packages and specialist trades working closely with I.Chime Management Team. You will also support the generation and approval of tenders. ● You will monitor the progress of our projects, report and report remedial actions to management, effectively manage the project budget and all costs to ensure successful completion within budget estimates coupled with compliance with best practice and meeting the specified quality and standards. ● Your duties will include the preparation of progress reports, incorporation of contractor and consultant project reports and briefing the team. ● You will monitor and update project financial forecasts and cash flows, manage construction project teams, chair meetings with design teams, cost consultants, contractors and other specialists/stakeholders. ● You will occasionally report to the director as required and conduct regular strategic planning and forecast in addition to assembling information for invoicing at the end of projects. ● You will also be able to manage and coordinate construction activities/sites ensuring strict adherence to health and safety on site and that each project is delivered in accordance with the RAMS for the project. ● You will work schedules based on prior discussion with clients, architects, surveyors etc. ● You will be responsible for temporarily hiring, inducting and supervising staff. ● You will conduct forecast assessments of potential challenges and disruptions to ongoing projects, including the impact of traffic and new developments. ● You will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring that materials and construction methods are compliant with specifications and statutory requirements and that there are no deviations from agreed plans. Skills and Qualifications: ● Ideally ICE,MRICS, MCIOB or other suitable professional bodies considered (but not essential) ● A good academic background is essential; therefore, the prospective candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or any related subject. ● A complimentary postgraduate qualification in either Project Management or Construction Management will be essential. ● A minimum of 5 years in building and project management experience, as well as proven project delivery experience at planning and construction stages will be essential. ● A full understanding of project delivery, costs, and programme management in both residential and commercial settings. ● You will have the ability to compile project programmes, review, amend and update them using MS Project, Aster or similar construction programme software. ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills ● A dynamic individual with a pro-active approach and excellent problem-solving skills. ● A hands-on approach and a willingness to work with and alongside the team. ● A proven ability to lead and build strong relationships with internal and external teams. ● An effective team leader and team player with the ability to work autonomously and work under own initiative. ● Excellent design skills and high proficiency at understanding building regulations. ● Willingness to undergo of and on-the-job training. ● Good interpersonal skills and eloquence in English. Duties of the post: Responsible for completing the annual, quarterly and monthly foreign trade business indicators and department management work set by the company Managing export trade process and risk control Managing customer accounts in accordance with the company's financial policies, contract terms and export-related regulations Responsible for exploring new markets, developing new customers, and increasing product sales scope in the UK catering industry Responsible for the overall planning of UK sales activities and supervise the execution of department employees Responsible for arranging employees to conduct market research and understand sales conditions and demand changes Developing connections and relationships that lead to new business opportunities in UK catering market sectors Presenting the company’s service offering to prospective clients Building and maintaining a CRM database Receiving enquiries for new business and collaborating with leadership to strategize responses. Salary: £53,000-£55,000 depending on experience Skill, experience and qualifications: Educated to degree level Fluent English and Mandarin speaker as the company targets Asian restaurants in the UK At least 5 years of experience in international trade and business development, ideally in e-commerce or in the catering industry Have strong business development and market development capabilities, and be able to lead the entire team to expand and maintain foreign trade business Communication and negotiation skills Be target driven and tenacious Be able to work effectively within a team Be motivated and enthusiastic at all times Display high standards of service and presentation
The responsibilities includes: Discusses business methods, products or services and targets customer group with employer or client in order to identify marketing requirements. Establishes an appropriate quantitative and qualitative market research methodology and prepares proposals outlining programmes of work and details of costs. Collates and interprets findings of market research and presents results to clients. Briefs advertising team on client requirements and monitors the progress of advertising campaigns. Help to define and promote the unique profile of the firm in the market, as being both international and independent Provide strategic BD advice to law firm leadership, practice groups, and partners focused on expanding relationships with existing clients, generating new business leads, and developing new projects and initiatives Align practices and offices and bring them closer together through defining and co-ordinating BD activities Assist practice groups and partners in the development and implementation of BD plans, and in tracking progress against objectives Understand key developments that shape the clients’ industries and the legal profession and share insights internally Manage the development of client-specific pitch materials Plan and support business development events, including seminars, webinars, and dinners Develop marketing and external communications programmes Manage and coordinate the firm’s website, newsletters, brochures, and other external communication channels Oversee and assist with the production of marketing materials Skills required: Multiple years of experience in business development and previous law firm experience is highly desirable.
