SEN Teaching Assistant – EYFS, KS1 & KS2 Location: Preston, South Ribble, Leyland, Chorley, West Lancashire & Blackburn with DarwenPay: £14.25 per hourContract: Flexible supply / short-term / long-term opportunities Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with SEN experience looking for flexible work or longer-term opportunities within primary schools? This could be the ideal role for you. We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a number of welcoming primary schools across Lancashire. About the Role • Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), • Work one-to-one and with small groups to support learning, development and behaviour, • Assist pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language, and additional learning needs, • Support the class teacher in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons, • Flexible day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements availableWhat We’re Looking For, • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, • Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2, • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach, • Strong communication and behaviour management skills, • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsWhat We Offer, • Competitive pay rate of £14.25 per hour, • Flexible working to suit your availability, • Opportunities across a wide network of local primary schools, • Access to longer-term placements All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
