Key Responsibilities: ● Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos) and teas according to standard recipes. ● Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking orders and providing menu recommendations. ● Operate and maintain coffee machines, equipment and grinders. ● Handle transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments and managing cash registers accurately. ● Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including coffee machines, counters, and seating areas. ● Ensure stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients are maintained, restocking as necessary. ● Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. ● Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours. ● Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary. Experience, skills and requirements: ● Previous experience as a Barista ● Knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso equipment is desirable ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ● Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. ● Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions. ● Ability to stand for long periods ● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays ● Level 2 Food & Hygiene Certificate WAGES DEPEND ON EXPERIENCE

We have a large selection of products and it is important that team members are knowledgeable about the products and are able to engage in a friendly and informative way with the customer. Our main goal is to encourage customers to purchase tea and accessories from either our shop or online. We do this by creating a friendly and interesting atmosphere. You are there to educate the customer by listening to their requirements explaining what is on offer and then seeing if you can fulfil their requests. At least 2 years of retail or hospitality focused work Have a good grasp of our range of over 100 teas. Make teas, coffees and other drinks for customers. Treat the customer as you would like to be treated. Provide the customer with knowledge and advice about the teas. Attitude should be approachable and friendly. Punctual, Polite, Presentable Actively engaging customers, every customer should be greeted as you would like to be greeted when entering a shop. Make sure shop is clean, shelves dusted, floor swept, wood polished etc. Record all sales, monetary value and stock sold. The shop and all equipment should be left at the end of the day as you would like to arrive to it in the morning.
