Role Description: The Senior QA Specialist is a broad role across GMP QA activities performed at the manufacturing site. It is a diverse role within a small QA team requiring a flexible approach, organisation and planning and excellent communication skills. Job Responsibilities: • Oversee timely QA batch release activities and perform batch manufacturing and QC record reviews., • Oversee the execution of the Self-Inspection program and perform self-inspection audits., • Review and approve GMP documentation including SOPs and forms., • Review and approve QMS records including deviations, OOS, change controls. and CAPA., • Review and approve validation protocols and reports., • Creation/review of specifications and CoA, • Perform training in GMPs and internal QA processes., • Develop quality KPI and input to Quality management Review process., • Lead customer audits, • Own continuous improvement projects., • Give best practice guidance/coaching in risk management and compliance with regulatory expectations., • Other responsibilities as defined by Head of QA Desired Experience and Skills: • A degree in Chemistry (or a related subject)., • Extensive experience in GMP quality systems., • Experience in application of quality risk management., • Experience in application of data integrity regulations., • Preferred experience in operational roles in manufacturing or QC., • Practical experience in continuous improvement activities., • Pragmatic approach to application of regulatory expectations., • Microbiology experience is advantageous.
