Vacancy for an Assistant Clerk to the Parish Council Location: Mostly working from home. Proximity to the Chew Valley would be an advantage. This outlines the duties required for the post of Assistant to the Clerk in order to indicate the level of responsibility. Local Government experience is desirable but not essential. Ongoing support and training in all aspects of the job will be offered. A high degree of computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be expected to obtain the Introduction to Local Council Administration (iLCA) qualification within 6 months of appointment and achieve the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CILCA) qualification within the 24 months of appointment. You have experience in a similar role, or as an Assistant looking for further development with a demonstrable track record of excelling in Front Office operations and procedures. As the Restaurant Supervisor you will be working across our quick service restaurant and our outside terraced restaurant.
