Key Responsibilities Sales and Supply Chain Support • Support the achievement of national sales targets and supply chain demand, • Provide relevant quotations and seek new business opportunities, • Research and develop new business opportunities to grow the supply chain, • Develop and maintain a strong prospect pipeline Supplier and Logistics Coordination • Assist in coordinating and planning daily material movements in collaboration with internal departments including transport and site operations, • Liaise with internal and external hauliers to obtain competitive quotes and book loads for material movements, • Oversee and manage supply chain activities for relevant operational sites Customer Relationship Management • Provide customer support and maintain strong customer relationships, • Respond to customer enquiries efficiently and in a timely manner, • Manage incoming sales calls and provide cover during lunch breaks, holidays, and sickness where required Administration and Compliance • Obtain necessary compliance documentation and proof of delivery from suppliers, • Manage and update ticketing systems to ensure records remain accurate and compliant, • Ensure all outstanding tickets are checked and resolved on a weekly basis, • Maintain internal documentation, databases, SharePoint systems, and processes, • Provide administration support as directed by the line manager or wider senior leadership team, • Liaise with the Finance department where required Market Intelligence • Monitor relevant market activity and share insights with the line manager and senior leadership team Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Essential • Office sales and/or administrative experience, • Professional and confident manner, • Excellent communication skills, • Strong organisational skills, • Good customer service skills, • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, • Ability to remain calm under pressure, • Ability to manage multiple priorities, • Experience within the energy, waste, forestry, agriculture, or waste wood sectors, • Awareness of environmental legislation and compliance requirements Development and Support You will be supported by an experienced team and provided with opportunities to develop your skills and career.
