Position Title: Logistics Specialist Job Type: International Logistics Coordinator Reports To: Logistics Manager (dotted line to Team Leader) Department: SSPS Logistics Location: On-site (Aberdeen or Montrose) Job Purpose The Logistics/EPC Specialist will support the logistics department by managing the movement of materials into manufacturing and the loadout of finished project products. The role involves coordinating shipments, preparing customs documentation for imports/exports, and performing compliance checks. Experience in Manufacturing or Project environments is preferred. Key Responsibilities • Assist in developing EPC Project Logistics Plans, including shipment lookaheads, risk identification, and strategy., • Lead and coordinate regular shipment progress reviews., • Optimise logistics planning to reduce shipment volumes, consolidate loads, and control freight costs., • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Projects, and Materials teams., • Support monthly reporting on inbound and outbound logistics spend., • Act as customer point of contact for EPC logistics matters., • Verify and prepare import/export documents according to customs compliance requirements., • Support loadouts by arranging kickoff meetings, aligning key parties, and ensuring smooth project execution., • Maintain carrier compliance at all times., • Participate in logistics meetings., • Process transport requests in the freight system., • Handle escalations for NOR requests via requestors, suppliers and the Logistics 4PL., • Strong understanding of Incoterms and international logistics., • Preferred knowledge of Duties and Tariffs., • Strong problem-solving ability, judgment, initiative, and creativity., • Excellent communication, influencing and organizational skills., • Self-starter with strong attention to detail., • Advanced Microsoft skills (Excel, etc.)., • Self-disciplined, motivated, and comfortable working independently or in teams., • Willingness to learn, question existing processes, and contribute new ideas., • Strong organisational skills and ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders., • Ability to see the bigger picture, adapt quickly, and stay calm under pressure.

Job Title: Logistics Specialist Location: Aberdeen Duration: 12 months (PAYE-Contract) Responsibilities: • Assist development of EPC Project Logistics Plan (Shipment lookahead, risks, strategy)., • Coordinate and lead regular shipment rhythms on progress., • Optimise planning to reduce shipment volume, increase consolidation and reduce freight spend (MOT shift, contract vs spot)., • Strong coordination with interfacing roles in Manufacturing, Sourcing, Projects & Materials., • Support monthly cost feedback on Logistics spend (Inbound & Outbound)., • Customer point of contact on all EPC Project Logistics related matters., • Verify / Complete import & export documentation, records & registers in accordance with local customs compliance requirements., • Compliantly moving goods, whilst adhering to all policies, International Trade compliance, HMRC and Customs regulations always., • Supporting the Logistics lead in Loadouts, arranging Kick-off meetings, aligning all parties, controlling the flow of information and enabling collaboration throughout the process to successfully loadout projects on time., • Always ensure carrier compliance., • Join and participate in all Logistic meetings., • Loading transport requests into our freight system., • Escalation point for NOR requests arranged via Requestor, Supplier and Logistics 4PL., • Sourcing the most cost effective and efficient logistic solution to the transportation request. Qualification/Requirements: • Must have a good understanding of Incoterms and strong knowledge of international logistics., • Preferred understanding Duties and Tariffs., • Good problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative and creativity., • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational skills., • Individual must be a self-starter, creative and clear thinker., • Advanced Microsoft computer skills, excel spreadsheets etc., • Training will be given with Logistic systems.
