Transactional Finance ManagerSalary: £38,000 - £45,000 We are working with a growing and well-established business seeking an experienced Transactional Finance Manager to take full ownership of its transactional finance function. This is a key role within the finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and control of all core financial ledgers, while leading and developing a small transactional finance team. As the Transactional Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of all transactional finance processes, ensuring that supplier, subcontractor, and employee payments are processed accurately and on time. You will play a critical role in maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring that the company’s key books of entry remain accurate, well-managed, and audit-ready. Working closely with the Management Accountant, you will ensure the underlying financial data supporting reporting is complete, accurate, and fully reconciled. • Full ownership of all transactional finance ledgers, including:, • Purchase Ledger, • Subcontract Ledger, • Sales Ledger (including house sales where applicable), • Cashbook, • Payroll, • Lead, manage and develop the transactional finance team, including workload allocation and performance management, • Ensure all supplier, subcontractor, and staff payments are processed accurately and on time, • Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies, • Take responsibility for HMRC submissions and payments, including:, • VAT, • CIS, • PAYE / NIC, • Oversee cashbook management and ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations, • Maintain strong financial controls across all transactional processes, • Ensure clean, accurate, and well-maintained key books of entryAbout You, • Proven experience in a similar Ledger Manager / Transactional Finance Manager role, • Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, and cashbook processes, • Experience managing or supervising a finance team, • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and controls, • Good working knowledge of HMRC requirements (VAT, CIS, PAYE), • Confident working collaboratively with wider finance teams
