Truefitt & Hill offers a full range of shaving, fragrance, hair, and bath products for the modern man. Key Responsibilities 1. Efficient Order Handling:
• Accurately picking items from inventory based on order requirements.
• Packing orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Dispatching orders promptly to meet delivery deadlines. 2. Inventory Management:
• Loading and unloading stock from delivery vehicles.
• Conducting regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Organising stock in the warehouse to optimise space utilisation. 3. Quality Control:
• Inspect items for quality and damage before packing, ensuring only the best products are shipped to customers.
• Verify that all items picked match the order specifications and are in good condition. 4. Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Adhere to company policies regarding the handling of products, including hazardous goods where applicable. 5. Documentation:
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to inventory, orders, and shipping as required.
• Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to track orders, tasks and inventory movements accurately. 6. General Support:
• Assisting in the maintenance of a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Collaborating with team members to streamline warehouse operations.
• Be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks or responsibilities as needed to support overall warehouse operations.
• Adjust to changing priorities, such as peak seasons or unexpected order fluctuations. Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift Certified License (desirable but not essential, training course can be provided).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge and skills for inventory management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
