Core Drill are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing company as a Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for all basic book-keeping up to trial balance. The role will also include some general office responsibilities for example answering phone calls, monitoring the general inbox, reporting to Director. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and extremely organised, able to work independently and as part of a team. Bookkeeping experience is essential along with confident excel skills. Responsibilities • Raise invoices and send to clients, • Credit Control and following up outstanding invoices, • Record supplier invoices on our system and pay bills in accordance to supplier terms, • Weekly and monthly payroll including pension submissions to NEST and payment of employees, • Lease with external HR advisor regarding any employee issues, • Weekly expenses, • Monthly CIS Returns and paying HMRC, • Monthly VAT Returns, • Bookkeeping and providing financial reports at directors request, • Liase with external Accountant at year end to provide all information required to complete annual accounts, • Monitoring small fleet of vans including booking MOT’s when due, • Answer telephone calls and monitor email inbox for adhoc queries Key Skills and experience • Accounts or bookkeeping experience, • Basic Excel and word skills, • Hardworking and motivated, • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, • Knowledge of Quickbooks and Construction Industry Scheme desirable Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Benefits: • Company pension, • Free parking, • On-site parking Education: • GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person
