Deputy Manager Supported Living (Learning Disabilities) Location: Sunderland Salary: £29,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 per week We are working on behalf of a leading care provider to recruit a Deputy Manager who is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities. The Role As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a dedicated team to deliver high-quality supported living services. You will ensure services are person-centred, compliant with CQC requirements, and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients. Key Requirements • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential), • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards), • Experience in supported living or domiciliary care, • Management / leadership experience (essential), with relevant qualification (desirable), • Knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health & Social Care Act, • Experience in creating rosters, maintaining compliance paperwork, and leading audits, • Ability to review and develop support plans, risk assessments, and client documentation, • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with a caring and approachable nature, • Supervise care staff and act as service lead in the absence of the Registered Manager, • Ensure policies, procedures, and regulatory standards are met, • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff teams, • Promote and safeguard client wellbeing, • Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and regular team meetings, • Maintain accurate and audit-ready records JBRP1_UKTJ
