Job Description Location: Fort Bragg, NC Type: Full-time Overview: B2 Constructors LLC is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations for Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This is a federally contracted USACE project requiring full-time, on-site presence for the duration of contract performance. The Superintendent is the senior field authority responsible for daily production, subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, quality compliance, and site safety. Key Responsibilities: Field Management & Production • Manage all subcontractors on-site, • Coordinate day-to-day production activities to ensure schedule adherence and milestone completion., • Direct the sequencing of earthwork, demolition, paving, utility installation, electrical, masonry, and site furnishing activities., • Maintain continuous on-site presence during all hours of work performance; ensure a qualified alternate is on-site if temporarily absent (up to 24 hours with Level One SSHO-qualified alternate)., • Actively manage and update the project schedule; identify and communicate schedule risks to the Project Manager in advance., • Attend and participate in all Red Zone meetings, partnering meetings, quality control meetings, and preconstruction conferences as required by USACE., • Provide daily field reports, photographic documentation (minimum 20 photos per week from at least 10 viewpoints), and monthly progress photos for submittal with invoices., • Implement and maintain the three-phase Quality Control process (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up phases) for each Definable Feature of Work (DFOW), • Attend and contribute to weekly QC meetings led by the QC Manager; support coordination between QC specialists and subcontractors., • Ensure all work conforms to the contract drawings and specifications, including but not limited to: concrete, structural steel, Corten steel retaining walls, masonry, paving, and electrical., • Coordinate with Special Inspector for required inspections, testing, and documentation., • Ensure a Level One Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) is on-site at all times during work performance; serve as SSHO if qualified and designated., • Conduct or oversee weekly toolbox safety meetings with all trade workers; conduct monthly supervisor-level safety meetings; document and retain meeting minutes on-site., • Notify the Contracting Officer of all scheduled safety meetings at least 7 calendar days in advance., • Ensure Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) are completed by trade foremen prior to each new or changed operation., • Submit Monthly Exposure Reports by the 5th of each month covering all site workers (prime and subcontractors)., • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction., • Minimum 5 of those years as a Superintendent on projects similar in size and complexity., • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification., • Demonstrated familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety and Occupational Health requirements., • Experience in hazard identification and safety compliance., • Ability to read, interpret, and implement critical path schedules and construction drawings., • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and conversational) – required at all times during work performance., • Prior USACE / federal government construction experience strongly preferred., • EM 385-1-1 SSHO Level One certification (enables dual role as Superintendent/SSHO)., • Experience with USACE RMS (Resident Management System) Contractor Mode., • Familiarity with USACE CQC (Contractor Quality Control) three-phase inspection process., • Experience on civil/site work projects involving pathway, monument, or civic infrastructure construction., • Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6 or equivalent)., • Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain base access credentials at Fort Bragg, NC (background check and fingerprinting may be required)., • First Aid / CPR certification.
