Overview: Staff Accountant - Benevis LLC. - Atlanta, GA New Benevis Corp is a dental services organization offering business support services to some of the nation's leading dental practices. Benevis primarily supports affiliated practices in non-clinical operations, allowing dentists to direct their energy and passion towards providing the best possible clinical experience for their patients. Benevis strives to provide world-leading support services in areas such as accounting, operations management, marketing, IT, and compliance, among other services. Position Description: The Staff Accountant is a key member of the accounting group, working directly with management in a fast-paced, growing healthcare company. You will be responsible for recording journal entries; processing employee expense reimbursements; monthly bank reconciliations; and treasury service maintenance. You will also assist with some Accounts Payable functions as needed. Excel experience is desired including the use of VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Other responsibilities will be to assist on special projects that include new system implementations, annual audits, office setups, etc. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. • Prepare and compile journal entries from various internal and external sources such as merchant processors, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash receipts billing and associated revenue records., • Record all banking transactions (cash receipts, payments, etc.) in GL and complete monthly bank account reconciliations., • Prepare and complete weekly bank account transfers., • Assemble data from off-site personnel and other departments to prepare employee reimbursements for all managed companies. Review data for timeliness accuracy, and adherence to company policies., • Communication with vendors, employees, and multiple bank representatives., • Provide support to field operations and collaborate with other internal departments for process improvements., • Monitor and complete regular administrative maintenance of 50+ bank accounts., • Prepare and analyze documents for year-end audit and Federal and State tax returns., • Provide financial data to management team., • Work with auditors during interim and annual financial audits by providing necessary support and detail., • Conform with and abide by all internal controls, regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions., • All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Essential Skills and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in accounting, • Up to 3 years related experience, • Strong systems skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products, • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, • Attention to detail, • Ability to work independently, • Must be able to manage time on many different projects at once We value teamwork, mutual respect and cooperation.
