Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician Opportunity Near BRONX, NY Job Summary: We are actively seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physician to join our healthcare team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care in the Bronx, NY area. Responsibilities: • Comprehensive Primary Care:, • Provide a full scope of primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance., • Patient Evaluation:, • Review patients history and perform physical examinations., • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care., • Refer patients to specialists as needed., • Clinical Diagnostics:, • Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care., • Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits., • Prescription and Management:, • Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans., • Relationship-Centered Care:, • Provide relationship-centered care, considering the patients psychosocial and physical needs., • Documentation and Communication:, • Collect and record patient information, maintaining complete and accurate medical records., • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care., • Education and Collaboration:, • Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent., • Residency: Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine., • Experience: Open to both experienced and newly trained providers., • Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine., • Licensure: Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure., • Registration: Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration., • Enrollment: Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll., • Certification: BLS or ACLS strongly preferred., • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written., • Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM, • Thursday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM, • Competitive Base Salary, • Sign-on Bonus, • Malpractice Insurance, • Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement Reference Job ID: j-189662 HDAJOBS MDSTAFF
