Candidate Requirements: • Experience: 2 years of experience required. First-time travelers are accepted., • Licensure: Active Washington RRT license., • Certifications:, • Required: BLS, RRT The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for a full range of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center. Key Responsibilities Include: • Providing respiratory care across various settings, including Floor care, Emergency Department (ER), and responding to Codes and Rapid Responses., • Comprehensive Ventilator Management, including BiPAP/CPAP, weaning, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms., • Airway Management, including extubation, oral/nasal airway placement, and tracheostomy care/suctioning., • Administering medications and treatments via nebulizer (hand-held, T-piece, trach collar), MDI, and other delivery systems., • Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs). Staffing Ratio: Varies and depends on patient acuity. Medication Administration (Preferred marked with ): Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Ketamine, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline*, Tobramycin, Xopenex. *Ventilator & Equipment (Preferred marked with ): • Proficiency in: BiPAP, CPAP, weaning from mechanical ventilation, troubleshooting high pressure alarms.
