Job Description Electrical Project Manager Location: New Jersey Compensation: $95,000 – $120,000 (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-time About Our Client Our client is a well-established electrical contracting firm with over 30 years in business, proudly serving the New Jersey region. Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager with proven experience managing large-scale commercial projects involving both low voltage and high voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have the leadership skills to oversee multiple projects, coordinate effectively with clients and subcontractors, and ensure all work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities • Manage all phases of large-scale commercial electrical projects from planning to closeout., • Oversee project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and equipment., • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution., • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts., • Lead project meetings and provide clear communication regarding progress, issues, and solutions., • Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies., • Monitor change orders, RFIs, and submittals throughout the project lifecycle., • Deliver high-quality service and maintain strong client relationships. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial electrical contracting., • Strong background in both low voltage and high voltage systems., • Proven ability to manage large-scale commercial projects (new construction, modernization, or restoration)., • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills., • Strong knowledge of project management software and electrical systems., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment., • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
