Full Time Position at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital 785 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY 10605 PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Inpatient RN provides direct patient care in accordance to company policies and procedures which includes FMCNA compliance programs and contracted hospitals’ policies and procedures. Areas of practice are diverse, including, but not limited to, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapies, apheresis, and ultrafiltration. The Inpatient RN will partner with the hospital to provide quality care to the patient and deliver care that provides a positive patient experience. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Under limited supervision, applies considerable knowledge to perform a broad range of tasks which include but are not limited to direct patient care in multiple modalities not limited to hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ultrafiltration, continuous renal replacement therapy, and Apheresis., • Provides supervision and direction of Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff; provides direction and education to ICU staff for CRRT., • Responsible for direct patient care of assigned patients in the Inpatient Renal Replacement and Apheresis Services setting and providing the appropriate treatment technique for assigned patients as prescribed in all modality procedures, as appropriately defined – hemodialysis, peritoneal, continuous renal replacement therapies, ultrafiltration, and Apheresis., • Assesses patients’ responses to treatment therapy making appropriate adjustments and modifications to the treatment plan as indicated by the appropriately credentialed physician. Communicate problems or concerns to the Inpatient Program Manager, appropriately credentialed physician, patient hospital primary nurse and others as indicated., • Delivers safe, effective care in a timely an efficient manner., • Gives organized, concise shift reports for patients on assigned shifts. Apply high level thinking skills to shift patient schedules to meet needs of more critical patients due to labs, MD order, or patient assessment., • Responsible for the implementation, administration, monitoring, and documentation of patient’s response to prescribed intradialytic transfusions, including appropriate notification of adverse reactions to physician and appropriate blood supplier., • Collaborates and communicates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and coordinate daily patient care plan to ensure continuity of care., • Initiates and communicates to FMS facility nursing staff and appropriate hospital personnel as needed., • Accurately documents all treatment information in the individual patient record (ACES) and the hospital record, as needed., • Cleans and disinfects dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding areas between treatments according to inpatient renal services policies and procedures., • Conducts all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and documents where appropriate., • Performs all required pre-treatment dialysis machine alarm testing., • If applicable, initiates Solution Delivery System., • Operates all related equipment appropriately and safely and provides minor trouble shooting when necessary; efficiently utilizes supplies to prevent waste., • Understands, conducts, and documents appropriately Dialysis/Apheresis machine safety tests/alarm tests, equipment calibration, dialysate testing, machine safety tests, functional testing, and internal and external disinfection on all water & dialysis machines, and complies with the documentation/notification standards per FMS policies., • Completes and documents ongoing participation in QAI activities., • Participates in staff meetings as scheduled., • Participates in staff training and orientation as assigned., • Acts as a subject matter expert to hospital staff for dialysis related patient/equipment complications., • Responsible for reporting all new or unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the inpatient manager and other parties per the Adverse Event Report requirements. May be assigned to in-center patient care on an as needed basis, • Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations., • Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor., • Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: • Current appropriate state licensure., • Maintains acquired knowledge and remains current in advancements in nephrology, in particular, relative to inpatient care (hospitalized patients requiring varied treatment modalities, not limited to Renal Replacement, Apheresis, and Ultrafiltration services)., • Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which employed., • Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing, or both is highly encouraged. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: • One year RN experience required and required nursing skills., • Minimum 6 months nephrology experience required before working independently with no other Dialysis RNs to provide dialysis and ultrafiltration services., • Minimum 6 months Nephrology experience required before working independently with no other Apheresis RNs to provide Apheresis services., • Demonstrated strong assessment skills related to the critically ill patient., • ICU experience preferred but not required., • Successful completion of training course in the theory and practice of care of the ESRD patient – Progressive Renal Education Preparation., • BLS CPR Recognition., • ACLS CPR Recognition preferred, but not required., • Demonstrates organizational and time management skills, and a competency toward completing continuing and ongoing Renal/Nephrology education., • Displays leadership skills and ability to direct and supervise others (such as PCTs, CCHTs, clerical staff)., • Successful completion of Nurses Technical Training. The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies. Job Description Westchester Reform Temple [WRT] is an established house of worship located in Scarsdale, New York, and serves over 1,000 households as members of the congregation. WRT operates two buildings on its campus, is active 7 days-a-week, and provides a wide variety of activities through regular worship services, special celebrations and events, life-cycle events, after-school classes, pre-school classes and adult education opportunities. This full-time position reports to the Facilities Manager, but must also work with and take direction from senior staff. The utmost courtesy and calm professionalism are expected at all times, in every interaction with supervisors, coworkers, community participants and outside vendors. This role includes a usual schedule of 5 days per week. Typically, this includes 4pm-9pm on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 7am-8pm on Friday, and 8am-7pm on Saturday - during the school year. Special events, monthly meetings and Jewish holidays will change this schedule often. Summer months will also have a different shift schedule. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Provide safety and security to Club members, guests, and employees, including Club assets by using keen observation skills and proactive solutions, • Maintain a visible and physical presence while on duty so that all Club activity can be monitored at all times, • Deter, detect & prevent unauthorized people from entering the property and facilities, • Operate Security Management & Access Control computer system, • Monitor camera surveillance system, • Patrol Club property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure at all times, • Follow up on all suspicious activity, • Observe and rectify all safety and fire hazards in cooperation with the Engineering department., • Conduct thorough investigations for various incidents including theft, accidents, and Club policy violations, • Compose incident reports for any accident, injury, rule infraction, property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, or suspicious activity, • Issue parking summonses for all parking violations, • Complete safety inspections for various items across Club property, • Collect and log all Lost & Found items, • Log all incoming packages via package scanner and facilitate delivery/pick-up, • Open/lock doors upon request and during routine patrol, • Maintain key box and issue keys to authorized personnel, • Respond to all alarm activations (burglar/fire alarms), • Provide First-Aid assistance to injured parties on Club property, • Data entry, • Provide assistance to all Members, employees, and guests as needed, • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect Club assets, • Maintain excellent communication with co-workers and foster a positive and professional work environment, • Support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees, • Perform additional duties and assist with additional projects & assignments as needed WHAT YOU'LL NEED • Must be Security minded and diligent, with ability to identify and manage risks, hazards and threats, • Associate or Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, or other related program; or relevant experience and/or other training will be considered, • Relevant experience within Hotel/Hospitality setting a plus, • Computer literacy required, • Must have ability to type a clear concise report, • Must have ability to operate all relevant Club operations systems, including Security Management computer system, Fire/Burglary Alarm system, photo ID software and IP camera surveillance system (systems training will be provided), • Ability to operate a motor vehicle (NYS Drivers license) required, • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and excellence, • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels, • Ability to maintain explicit confidentiality and demonstrated discretion in the handling of highly sensitive material and information, • First Aid/CPR/Defibrillator certified, • Must be flexible to meet scheduling needs, • Ability to speak Spanish a plus PAY RANGE $22.00 hourly compensation OUR TOTAL REWARDS At WCC, we believe that our biggest strength lies in the exceptional people who work for our organization to deliver memorable experiences to our members and their families. Job DescriptionPosition Description: TEMPORARY POSITION to assist with liquidation / closing of the store, targeting closure in the next 30-60 days. Positions needed: Supervisor / Keyholder What Youll Do: Perform store opening and closing duties such as, but not limited to: unlocking/locking the building before/after store hours, preparing/closing cash registers, disarming/setting the alarm, ensuring the store is in a neat, tidy, and safe manner. Supervise and lead a team of associates Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Knowledgeably communicate information about current promotions and discounts. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Assist with restocking shelves, folding clothes, and arranging displays to showcase merchandise effectively. Maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout. Monitor and report on inventory levels to support stock replenishment efforts. Help customers find products. Update store signage as necessary based on publish company direction.
