American Traveler is seeking a travel Clinic Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 10/27/2025, • Duration: 8 weeks, • 37 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, nights, • Position based in a radiology department covering general ultrasound cases, • Night shift schedule from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, • Work with a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, ER, and neonatal, • Patient ratio of approximately 1:5 during night shifts, • Performs exams such as abdominal, vascular, fetal heart, small parts, OB/GYN, and renal/pelvis ultrasounds, • Portable exams are included in job duties, • Uses Epic EMR; experience is preferred but not required, • No rotating shifts required, • Duties include conducting a wide range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, fetal, OB/GYN, neonatal, small parts, and vascular studies, • Radiology provider support available during shifts, • First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment, • No pre-approved time-off; RTO allowed up to 5 days, none allowed in the first two weeks, • Must submit two managerial/professional references; charge RN references not accepted, • Candidates returning as travelers must have been away for at least one year, • Parking provided in employee garage at no cost, • Employee is subject to EKG testing for certain units if applicable, • Locals accepted at the same pay rate\n \n Requirements\n, • Active ARDMS certification required, • ARDMS RVT certification preferred, • Valid NY state license required (license required if applicable), • Minimum of 2 years of recent ultrasound experience, • 3+ years experience preferred and 5 years ideal, • Experience in teaching and community hospitals preferred, • Must provide a hard copy of license or certificate for consideration, • COVID vaccination required with no exceptions, • Must be able to work with all patient age groups, • Familiarity with isolation precautions required\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
