Job Description Kehoe Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, dedicated team! Key Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor veterinary assistants and technicians, • Oversee daily operations to maintain efficient workflow, • Support inpatient/outpatient care, exams, and surgical procedures, • Train team members and assist with scheduling and inventory, • Uphold medical, safety, and client service standards, • Strong leadership and communication skills, • Passion for mentorship and team development, • Organized, proactive, and adaptable This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, No weekends! Full-time benefits and compensation**: • Compensation: $23-25 per hour, for each hour worked*, • Bonus package: $500-$2,000 based on experience and licensure, • CE allowance: Up to $1,000 annually based on licensure, • Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Life insurance and disability, • Employee Assistance Program, • 401k options, • Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Minimum qualifications and skill set: • 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting, • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in the following areas:, • Anesthesia induction and monitoring, • Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography, • Cystocentesis, • IV catheter placement, • Microscope evaluation, • IV and IM injections Our hospital features: • Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, Laser Therapy, and In-House Lab #SPO *To determine specific pay Company will consider the following factors: the applicant’s education, training, or experience related to the job position, geographic location where the work is performed, and other relevant factors.**During the process, you may request more information about compensation and benefits for your specific location where the work is performed.
