Principal responsibilities include drafting patent applications, responding to office actions, managing IP portfolios, as well as litigation support involving IP rights. The successful candidate will have a B.S. in Engineering from an accredited university and admission to practice before the USPTO or be eligible to take the exam. For the Associate Attorney position, the successful candidate will also have a J.D. from an accredited university and admission to the Florida Bar or be on track to obtain it. Additionally, the preferred candidate will have 2-3 years of general patent preparation and procedures. Experience using computer-assisted patent drafting tools is preferred.
