Job DescriptionJob Title:Kitchen Designer IIReports To:Kitchen ManagerSalary:Base + Commission Benefits: • 100% 401K match up to 4%, • 3-tier medical insurance, • 2-tier dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Employer paid life insurance, • Critical illness, hospital indemnity & accident insurance, • $3,000 tuition reimbursement, • PTOGeneral Description:, • Design kitchens using Porcelanosa cabinetry and products., • Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on company and market information., • Introduce, demonstrate, promote, and sell kitchen cabinetry for residential and commercial projects., • Maintain and update showroom kitchen displays and merchandising programs., • Provide quotes, prepare proposals, and offer information on kitchen terms of sale and delivery., • Coach junior sales personnel and provide training as needed., • Visit customers to support, close, or service kitchen sales., • Gather data on product/service tastes and trends from showroom visitors., • Handle cash transactions for showroom sales and maintain customer records., • Enter customer information and sales orders into the system., • Prepare expense reports and document customer service complaints., • Generate sales reports and analyze customer sales and margins., • Perform other assigned duties as needed. Job Requirements • 5-7 years of experience in kitchen design and sales preferred., • Proficiency in Plan-It or AutoCAD software., • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software packages., • Familiarity with European metric conversions to US standards., • Strong communication skills., • Commitment to providing solutions for customers., • Willingness to travel locally as required.

Job Description Job description Golden Glow Architectural Studios is a professional design services corporation that provides building code and zoning analysis, per-construction services, tenant protection plans and drafting services in New York City. We provide our clients with in-depth analyses and conduct phased plan reviews from schematic design through construction documents. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. Responsibilities • Ensuring overall design intent of the project team is incorporated into the detailed documentation., • Monitors the design process from conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring the design idea is consistent and properly executed., • Preparing Façade Repair Drawings, both individually and with the assistance of our drafting team, as scheduling and company workload requires, • Plans and develops projects of various sizes and works under supervision, • Investigates, evaluates, and recommends design solutions, prioritizes work, receives guidance on complex issues, • Assisting the owner with bid, negotiation, and award of contractors: (1) façade repair, sidewalk shed and adjacent property protection contractors; and (2) where we are contracted as the Construction Manager on non-LL11 projects., • Participates in construction administration by reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFI’s, working to solve construction issues, and performing site visits to assess general conformance with the design concept, • Strong drafting skills -able to self-perform and guide staff junior architects in the production of construction documents, • Familiarity with NYC agencies having jurisdiction – primarily DOB, FDNY, DOT, DPR and DCP, assist in building code and zoning reviews when needed., • Assists with marketing and business development activities, • Coordinating the work of junior professionals and technicians, • Consistently reviews work and communicate needs and concerns to project staff., • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, • Architecture registration required., • Strong interpersonal, customer service, writing, and communication skills., • Good understanding of construction, building codes and zoning, • Experience in architecture including project and construction documentation., • Ability to work on multiple, fast-paced projects and documents., • Experienced in Revit and AutoCAD software, • Architecture & Planning We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, FSA and 401(k).
