Position Summary: The University of Mount Saint Vincent, a member of NCAA Division III and the Skyline Conference, invites applications for a Graduate Assistant for the Men’s Basketball program. This position is designed to provide hands-on coaching and administrative experience while supporting all aspects of a competitive collegiate basketball program. Start Date - July 1, 2026 Primary Responsibilities: • Assist the Head Coach with daily operations of the Men’s Basketball program, • Support practice planning, skill development, and game preparation, • Assist with recruiting efforts, including identification, communication, and campus visits, • Coordinate video breakdown and scouting reports, • Support game day management and team travel logistics, • Monitor student-athlete academic progress and promote academic success, • Perform additional administrative duties within the Athletics Department as assigned Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required, • Acceptance into, or plans to apply to, a graduate program at the University of Mount Saint Vincent (Business or Education), • Previous playing or coaching experience in basketball preferred, • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with student-athletes, coaches, support staff, campus community, and alumni, • Effective time management and organizational skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, • Knowledge of NCAA Division III guidelines preferred, • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, • Valid Driver’s License Benefits Annual stipend: $18,000 • On-campus housing & meal plan included
