Location: 490 Ohio Street, Lockport, NY 14094 Shift: 1st shift Schedule: Monday to Friday / 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM (50 hour week) Pay Range: $30.00 to $45.00+ per hour (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: $1000 Master Diesel Mechanic – Work on Everything That Moves! Are you a diesel pro who loves variety and challenge? Join our team and work on an exciting mix of heavy equipment—from massive excavators to precision forklifts, road-ready trucks to specialized trailers. What You'll Do: • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, trailers, and heavy equipment (excavators, trucks, forklifts, loaders, screeners), • Master multiple systems: fuel, brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, exhaust, and electrical, • Leverage cutting-edge diagnostic tools for precision troubleshooting, • Perform scheduled maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and safety, • Test and validate all repairs to ensure peak performance, • Keep detailed records compliant with DOT and company standards, • 3+ years as a diesel mechanic working with trailers and mixed heavy equipment, • Hands-on experience with excavators, trucks, trailers, forklifts, loaders, and screeners, • Strong diagnostic skills with Davie 4 software, • Deep understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, • Foundation Brake Certification, • CDL license (preferred but not required), • Self-motivated with excellent time management, • Variety – Work on everything from forklifts to massive excavators, • Challenge – Complex diagnostics that keep your skills sharp, • Growth – Certification support and continuous learning opportunities, • Impact – Your expertise keeps critical operations running smoothly This role operates in a high-heat, dusty, and noisy manufacturing setting. Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Expect to perform physically demanding tasks (bending, climbing, pushing, etc.), repetitive movements, and lifting from 50-75 lbs.
