Job Description Job title: Phlebotomist I in South Richmond Hill, NY 11419 Now Hiring: Phlebotomist I – South Richmond Hill, NY 11419 (Full-Time, Onsite) Location: South Richmond Hill, NY 11419 Contract- 3+months Schedule: Sun–Fri 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Alternate Sat 8:00 AM–3:00 PM Pay Rate: $17-$21/hr Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Patient Service Center in South Richmond Hill, NY. Key Responsibilities: • Represent the face of the company to patients during visits for routine health or life-defining health decisions, • Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics, • Handle forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established practices and procedures, • Prepare specimens for lab testing ensuring accuracy and proper labeling, • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment, • Maintain required records and documentation timely and accurately, • Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to patient confidentiality, • Work independently with minimal supervision Requirements: • Minimum 6 months experience; 1+ years preferred in phlebotomy, • Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric draws, • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred, • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA), • Customer service experience preferred, • Keyboard/data entry skills required, • Must be able to stand for extended periods Reliable transportation is a must.
